Description
The ST-Model Turbo Beaver is a "sports machine" that can be used both on land and on the water. With impressive manoeuvrability and a power to weight ratio of 1: 1, the Turbo Beaver is well suited to smaller airfields and can also get off the water easily and quickly.
This kit is equipped with large "bush" style wheels and a landing gear for use on land. Included in the kit are the two floats incl. mounting struts. The EPO foam floats are stepped for easy launching and have steerable water rudders on the back. This makes steering on the water much easier. If you have no previous experience with hydroplaning models, this is the perfect model to bring a new element to your hobby.
The hull itself is made from moulded EPO foam with carbon and plastic reinforcement for the ultimate balance of durability and light weight. The motor, flight controller and servos are pre-installed. All you need to add is the remote control and flight battery of your choice. The model features bright LED lights pre-installed in the wingtips. Wing-mounted landing lights and central fuselage lighting are perfect for flying at dusk. The model is pre-painted, decorated and equipped with many plastic injection-moulded parts such as aerials, exhausts.
The large wings result in a low wing loading. With the Fowler flaps you can significantly reduce the speed during landing. The control responses are clear and build confidence at different airspeeds.
Assembly takes only a few hours and no glue is required!
